Вчера вернулся с восточного побережья. Четыре города за десять дней: Нью-Йорк, Бостон, Монреаль, Квебек. Много впечатлений!.. You look down and see mountains below you: cliffs and ridges. These little green dots on the slopes are pine trees. Small patches of snow are still there. In front of you see a desert. It is yellow and brown, and it is covered with lines of roads and dry creeks. You look straight up and see a cloud. It is grey and it seems to be getting bigger. Look! What is that? It's a bird! A hawk. It is circling. Right above you. You are circling too. You are flying like a bird. You hear soft wind noise around you. And there is thermal updraft rising from the canyon below all the way up to the cloud. And it is carrying you and the hawk up. You are getting higher and higher. You are almost at the cloud base now. The hawk is nowhere in sight. You feel moisture of the cloud with your lungs. If you linger here any longer, you'll be inside the cloud. You decide to fly.... this way.
